A personal, curated gallery of pages Mahdi found well designed, kept as a reference library. It is free, it sells nothing, and it is run by one person. Using it means accepting what is on this page.

Every entry is a capture of somebody else’s work: screenshots and short recordings of a live website, or a clip of a post from X. The design, the words and the pictures in them belong to whoever made them, not to lvly. They are published here as references and commentary, at a fraction of the original, and every entry links back to the source.

The notes and tags written about an entry — the summary, the details, the style recipe — are lvly’s own.

If something here is yours and you would rather it were not published, write to [email protected] with the link. A reported listing is hidden within the day — it stops being reachable, drops out of every list and out of the sitemap — and it is deleted outright if you ask for that. No form to fill in and no reason required.

The same address is the one to use for anything else wrong with a listing: a broken capture, a page that has changed beyond recognition, something that should not have been captured at all.

Look at it, share links, take ideas. What is not on: scraping the library wholesale, republishing the captures as your own collection, or hammering the site with automated traffic. Requests are rate-limited, and an abusive one is simply refused.

Signing in with Google lets you post in the chat. Keep it civil. Messages can be edited or deleted and accounts can be blocked, at Mahdi’s discretion and without notice — it is a small room, not a platform. What you post is visible to everyone on the site.

Subscribing is double opt-in: nothing arrives until you confirm from your inbox. It is a weekly note about what has been added, and nothing else is ever sent to that address. Leaving is a reply or an email to [email protected].

lvly is provided as it is. It may be down, entries may disappear, a capture may be out of date the day after it was taken — a captured page is a photograph of a moment, not a mirror. Nothing here is advice, and nothing here is a promise that a site still looks the way its entry shows.
