Bland sells enterprise voice AI the way a Swiss annual report sells a bank: a warm off-white ground (#fdfdfc) that never goes fully white, Söhne set tight and dark, and almost no decoration that isn't a hairline. The hero gives the left half to a two-line headline where the second line flips to a red-orange and ends in a period — "Voice AI for / healthcare." — and the right half to a stacked deck of angled panels with a gradient orb at the center, the only saturated object above the fold. Everything below is built from the same two ingredients: a 1px warm-gray rule and a very large numeral. The latency section sets 400ms at roughly 140px against a grayed-out 1,240ms and draws one hairline split orange-to-gray in proportion; the compliance section drops four kraft-paper shields into a four-column hairline grid with a caption row beneath. The restraint is what makes the accent work — amber appears on exactly one control (the header's "Book a call"), the red-orange on exactly one word per headline, and the page reads as measured rather than loud despite the enormous type.

## Steal-worthy details

- Two-tone headline: line one in near-black, line two in the accent red-orange (~#d34623) and closed with a period — one word carries the vertical's name, so the same layout reskins per industry
- The wordmark is the word "bland" redacted by heavy horizontal bars — a logo built by striking out the type rather than drawing a mark
- Three-step CTA ladder in the header: bare text link, 1px-outlined button, then a solid amber #f9a900 button with #151515 label — all three 32px tall, 6px radius, 14px/500, so escalation is pure fill, never size
- A live proof figure sits under the hero CTA instead of in a stat band: the count in ink at body weight, the label in gray at the same size, one line, no card
- Hero media is a deck, not a screenshot: a white 6px-radius card centered over two angled panels peeking out either side, with chevrons and a small "Click to speak with an agent" prompt in gray beneath
- The comparison bar: two numerals in one row (yours huge and black, theirs smaller and gray), a single hairline underneath split accent/gray at the true ratio, and 11px uppercase labels tracked +0.08em pinned to each end
- Compliance as kraft-paper shields — AUDITED eyebrow, standard name, tier — in a four-column grid divided only by hairlines, with a second hairline row of caption text under every shield
- Deployment timeline drawn as one horizontal track with dots and labels alternating above and below, the track running a green-to-orange gradient left to right

## Style recipe

Set the page on a warm off-white (#fdfdfc), never pure white, and keep cards and panels at the same value so separation comes from 1px rules in a warm gray (#d3d1cd), not from fills or shadows. Type is one grotesk with tight optical spacing — Söhne, or Inter/Haas Grotesk as substitutes — in three weights only: 400, 500, 600. Scale: display 52–56px/1.04 at 600 with -0.02em tracking; section headings 20px/1.2 at 600 with -0.02em; lead paragraphs an unusually large 21–22px/1.4 at 500 in near-black, body copy 16px/1.5 at 400 in a warm gray; eyebrows 11px at 500, uppercase, +0.08em; buttons 14px at 500, -0.022em. Color roles: ink #151515, muted #6b6b68, hairline #d3d1cd, one amber #f9a900 reserved for the single primary button (dark label on it, never white), and one red-orange ~#d34623 reserved for accent words, active bar segments and inline links. No other hue except a warm kraft tone (#f2e8cc / #e8d3a8) for badge and seal objects. Radii are small and few: 6px for buttons, inputs and cards, 8px for the largest panels, 50% only for avatars and dots; nothing is pill-shaped. Controls are compact — 32px tall, 8px 12px padding — and get a 1px border even when filled. Shadows are effectively absent; where a card must lift, use a large diffuse shadow at under 8% opacity and nothing tighter. Rhythm: a 1440 page with ~160px side margins, sections separated by 140–200px of air, and content aligned to a hard left rule that every headline, rule and card edge shares. Two moves make it recognizable: one very large numeral per proof point, sized 2.5–3x the headline and paired with a hairline that encodes the same ratio; and a headline whose final line switches to the accent color and ends in a period. Motion is minimal and mechanical — 150–200ms opacity and 4px translate on reveal, carousels that slide rather than fade, and a "Replay" control offered wherever something animated once.
